I LOVE AVOCADOS.
If you couldn’t already tell, I love avocados. But I haven’t always loved them. In fact, I used to not like them at all.
Before I began my journey to better health, avocados were definitely not my thing.
BEING HEALTHY CAN BE SIMPLE.
I used to think being healthy was complicated. I hated cooking. I was always hungry. All of the “healthy” food tasted like cardboard. I was the nap queen.
My life changed in June 2017 when I did my first round of Whole30. My energy went through the roof. The food tasted incredible. I slept phenomenally. My clothes became too big. My taste buds changed. I love avocados?!
Over the next three years, I completed nine more rounds of Whole30. I realized that being healthy was simple all along. Eat real, whole foods. Move my body. Rest. Repeat.
HABIT CHANGE IS MY GAME.
After I started to change my eating habits, the momentum of this change spilled into all other aspects of my life.
I grew fascinated with how habit change works. I wanted to read every article and book I could about healthy habit change. I experimented with my own habits to see what worked and what didn’t.
I’M HERE FOR REAL.
My intentions are to share my real, authentic life. The changes I’ve made towards a healthier life have been so monumental for me, I want to share my knowledge and experience with others.

I am an Oregonian living in the Willamette Valley. I love to do yoga, run, cook, golf, ski, and spend time with my family. I am a graduate student in pursuit of my MBA at the University of Oregon.
Now I’m going to share with you how I created healthy habits that stuck.
